The Israeli Society for Human Resource Management (ISHRM) is a non profit organization, the leading professional organization in Israel for the promotion and development of Human Resources. ISHRM consistently strives to enhance the quality and excellence level of Human Resources Management and to implement the HR function as a business and strategic partner. An "Excellence in HR" competition is already part of our tradition. Participants include organizations from a broad range of sectors with unique and inspirational HR projects. The competition peaks at our annual Excellence Conference, where the winning projects are presented to the audience in a celebration of knowledge- sharing and learning.
ISHRM strives to promote and develop Human Resources as a profession and to define its threshold requirements with regard to knowledge and the professional qualifications to practice in the field, as follows:
*Certification of HR personnel – thousands of HR personnel have already been awarded certification diplomas by the ISHRM in official ceremonies.
*Authorization of academic study programs – the organization recognizes academic study programs in the field of Human Resources that meet the professional standards in the ISHRM's requirements document. Most relevant academic HR programs in Israel, both BA and MA, have adapted their programs in order to obtain our recognition for certification
ISHRM is a member of and Israel's representative in the European Association for People Management (EAPM) and participates in international research Studies.
